Not possible. All Professional Liability policies exclude criminal acts. So if the DA charges you, they won't respond to the claim.

Possible but not probable. ANYTHING can be written into a policy, but will have an impact on cost based on actuarial risk analysis. I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to PDs being required to fund the insurance policies for their officers.

If they would do it, there would be a product available right now. Even then you're talking 1 million typically.

Scary black people openly carrying guns prompted Governor Ronald Reagan to outlaw open carry in California.
And 1975 has what to do with this conversation LOL. Only scary black man I have met was a Drill Sargent at Ft Lost in the woods in 1985. That man was a lean mean fighting machine and brooked ZERO ********. Glad he was in charge of one of the other platoons and I never fell under his gaze for stupid ****.

Nope. I've been approached ad nauseam, got asked last week in fact. In fact Ol Bob Bates was working on a program to do this very same thing.... ironically.... before he needed it.

Make it easier for cities and states to face lawsuits when officers royally screw up in the scope of their employment and watch the demand skyrocket.

I think that’s awesome. Second amendment rights have historically been leveraged against the black population as another form of power control. When black communities decide enough is enough and arm them selves they take some of that power back. Groups like the KKK then become much less enthusiastic about attacking those communities when the lead starts coming back at them.

Same holds true today. A right is a right for all Americans. A black man or woman should not be treated any different while legally possessing a firearm than a white man or woman. Unfortunately that is simply not the case.
