JB, I am probably older than you are… I bet if you didn't make a living off of the system your ideas would change. When you got to watch your tax dollars go down the drain and the debt on our kids get larger by the second. It makes me sick. Instead you are able to profit off of putting people on the system when they broke the law by being here illegally so the rest of us can support them. Go down to your local hospital and ask the question of how many get free health care that the tax payers pay for. And you wonder why it cost so much to go to the ER. They use it as a doctor’s office and they have no intention of paying the bill.

The tax argument doesn't phase me for at least two reasons; 1). For the most part, illegals pay taxes, even if is under a fake SSN. They DO pay taxes. 2). I pay lots in taxes and don't ***** about it.

so do the millions on welfare

But they didn't break the laws to get here. I have an Idea? Why don’t we just all come over to your house and move on in with you without being invited? ("I bet you wouldn't like that when an uninvited guest that’s over what you own!") It's the same thing!

Didn't we just have one of these topics? Didn't end with reasonable people talking about economics, somewhat rather than pseudo-racism?

Look, everyone knows corporations are making record profits (even while the corporate tax in America is relatively high compared to the rest of the world), while living wages are down compared to inflation. This isn't because illegals are coming in and undercutting "American" workers. This isn't because unions are "driving up" wages and benefit packages so that corporations are somehow forced into using the cheapest labor possible to stay afloat.

Industrialization is no longer held to just a few wealthy nations. Any corporation can build a factory in Blanka-Stan-Adesh and makes obscene profits, even charge more for their goods that they ship back to sell in US, claiming import tariffs, etc. Outsourcing is actually taking jobs away from Americans, not so much with illegal workers. It's a global workforce now. You aren't competing with the other people filling out an application. You are competing with the bottom line, and you probably won't win. Imagine how many jobs would be outsourced if all illegals were shipped "home." Do you believe corporations would actually maintain business in the US? India has the world's fastest growing middle class, and they have over 1,000,000,000 people living there. It's going to be pretty simple to replace about 50 million consumers in just a few years. Worry about other stuff, not 'Jose Illegal.'

yep going from being a producing nation to a consumer/service nation tends to put the squeeze on the middle class who blames the problem on immigrants, taxes, poor. A clear example of people not understanding the true problem.

Tran, you don't even know what that song is about, do you?

I'll give you a hint:

There was a big high wall there that tried to stop me;
Sign was painted, it said private property;
But on the back side it didn't say nothing;
This land was made for you and me.

As I went walking I saw a sign there
And on the sign it said "No Trespassing."
But on the other side it didn't say nothing,
That side was made for you and me.

Nobody living can ever stop me,
As I go walking that freedom highway;
Nobody living can ever make me turn back
This land was made for you and me.

In the squares of the city, In the shadow of a steeple;
By the relief office, I'd seen my people.
As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking,
Is this land made for you and me?

And who are you to bring factually accurate information to this thread? You should be locked up for crushing others' indoctrinated fantasies.
