he should get "malicious mischief" and 100 hrs com service...dont ruin a kids life for a teenage brain fart....I think we all did some stupid things as teenagers....
I never said the kid shouldn't be punished, but this was not child porn, and everyone knows it. He is being made an example of. It was stupid, but he didn't fondle or rape the person. He took a picture of someone taking a piss. He should be scared to death, but the child porn charge is too much.
In reality, I think that nothing would fix this kid better than a good old fashioned beat down. No jail, no com serv, just a few kids from school grabbing him in the hallway and beating the piss out of him. That would make him think twice.
All of the stalls have doors as far as i know of. Some of them dont have locks and wont close though.
Certainly he's f'd up big time. I'm sure he knows this. And I'm sure he knows this will follow him for his entire life. But, a good side if there could be a good side. Some highschool kids mess up big time when acting up and loose their life or cause a life lost for others. He will get out of jail in a dozen years or so and still be a young man. Capable of making something of himself.

As long as it's not against the computer usage policy you were required to fill out and sign it's not a problem, I know for the 8th grade center they are not allowed to surf the internet or check email, I had to sign my sons usage agreement. I didn't think IT would have this site allowed through the content filter on the student network. I keep waiting for them to block it on the staff network.
You know everything you surf and view is logged?
