Went to Snake Creek yesterday morning to break-in my CZ Scorpion 3 Plus pistol and Glock 43. The outdoor rifle and pistol ranges face southeast and before noon the blaring sun is in your face.
The Glock is an easy shooter and accurate. The Scorpion has a horrible trigger and the safety lever in the unsafe position cuts into the top or your hand. I guess I'll be sending it to CZ Custom for the trigger upgrade and the push style safety. I've applied for an SBR for the CZ.
The Winchester white box 9mm did not function well in either gun. The GECO performed normally.

Today, although my round count was pretty low. Mainly went shooting because my step brother needed to sight in his new M-14 and we could only get one 100 yard lane for the three of us that were there. The guy to the left of us was sighting in a damn cannon it sounded like. Kept making me jump out of my skin. ;)

Recently got to take my RIA GI STANDARD FS HC for its inaugural range trip. I was pretty impressed with it. Went through 200 rounds without a single hiccup. Even was able to manage a pretty decent grouping one I got my shooting legs under me again. 😆 (Ignore that flyer there on the bottom, I'm trying to 🤣)

This was my last batch of loads on my old press and my old Starline brass. These had incorrect shoulder bump for the load I was testing, but overall not too bad. Next up will be some load development with Lapua LRP.

The top right shot was my cold bore, it will be interesting to see how it translates to 1000. I really want to get to know my cold bore.
