I thought that we were talking about free market/free trade. The Utube link I provided has Milton on record supporting that.
If I said "I support free markets," does that mean I have said the USA is a completely free and uninhibited market? No, it does not. Where then, do you get this from Friedman?

"You say you support "made in the USA" products, but you are wrong. China's manufacturing base is rising, and the USA's is declining."
I support made in the USA products for that exact reason, the Chinese manufacturing base and economy are rising, ours is declining and our people have to flip burgers for a living. Where am I wrong?
Because the opposite of what you advocate is happening. This perfectly parallels your criticism of Friedman.
If this is still unclear, I would be glad to elaborate further.

You can't argue with academic economists or statisticians who worship others in the ivory towers of academia.
They can't run a business but they can tell everybody else how an industry or national economy should be run.

Friedman actually had results under his belt. Two countries that turned things around based largely on advice that he and his associates gave to them.
If you read about Friedman you could name both of them immediately.
