Been there man. Then this young lady took it upon herself to soothe this poor lonely boys broken heart after his cat died. Our 2nd anniversary is commin up next month.
Sorry to hear about your kitty. I have 3, all rescue kitties, that live indoors. Kitties often seem like they are resilient to the point of being almost impervious to serious injury but they try to hide how much the are hurting or how sick they are because showing weakness is dangerous in nature. Try not to beat yourself up too bad about not taking your kitty to the vet, I've learned over the last several years to error on the side of caution because kitties will rarely give you the indications of how serious it is.
