I agree with the previous post. It was a fully automatic assault fishing rod. Probably had a drum magazine AKA reel that held 250 feet of high tensil Spider Wire!

I think he should have had one of them "dummy" RPGs'

That pilot would have literally s**t his pants!!!

I see both sides of this story, but....

Honestly, sometimes people need to let the gov know "We the People" still exist.

And BY GOD WE STILL DO.

AMEN

Citizens do not have private property, they only rent it from the government in the form of taxes.

This much is true.....and I've never seen/read any priciple that justifies it to my satisfaction.

All I know is that if I don't pay the government for my own stuff they get all huffy about it.
The frikkin' NERVE!

I think it's funny that everyone thinks a blackhawk is some fully armed helo of destruction. I doubt they took the time to put a gun mount in it to fight a fire.

Well, I'm going to be the devils advocate here.

As the 12th Iman I can do this.

Just pontificating here, and nothing else, BUT!

What if the pond is the source of his income? Raising minnows for sale to bait shops, raising fish to sell to pet shops, trophy bass fishing, or a pay per pound catfish fishing pond?

How could "the good of the public" idea work with taking away one persons income to make a living, to save anothers trees?

Yeah, I know homes were involved too, but I'm just pontificating.
