Folks this is not a matter of IF, it is a matter of when.

This will happen. Persecution is coming to America in a form we have never seen as a country.

All you can do is prepare, brace yourself and be ready to stand for what you believe in.

Brother will turn on brother, children will betray parents, parents will betray their children.

If there becomes civil strife in this country, the military best direct its attention to our borders and coast lines. We will not need any foreign intervention and that is what our military needs to secure. We can and will take care of our own civil upheavals on an equitable plane. Neither side should employ our military forces lest one side become tyrannical, dictatorial, and despotic. Besides, there is no power in the Constitution granted to our government to employ the military for law enforcement or to protect those in power from the people.

I guess someone will have to explain to me how this doesn't violate the Posse Comitatus Act.
"The insurrection act, Upon request"

There are many statutory exceptions to the Posse Comitatus Act, but the most important one is the Insurrection Act. Under this law, in response to a state government’s request, the president may deploy the military to suppress an insurrection in that state.

In addition, the Insurrection Act allows the president — with or without the state government’s consent — to use the military to enforce federal law or suppress a rebellion against federal authority in a state, or to protect a group of people’s civil rights when the state government is unable or unwilling to do so.

Yeah like that's never going to get abused by the power is that be...

Hasn't this been around for years? I mean, they used the military to run off the Bonus army in the 1932.

MacArthur and Patton rolled over US veterans and their families with tanks.
Yes, the timing of the update really sucks though. By design or by the normal level of military intelligence is the million dollar question right now.

DoD Directive 5240.01 has been around since at least 1982...maybe longer.

I vaguely remember training on this at Peterson AFB in the 90s when I was assigned to a SF unit there. It mostly dealt with AFOSI or AF Security Forces assisting civilian LE agencies. There is some very strict guidance on when military personnel can assist civilian or federal law enforcement and how they must operate while doing so.

I don't think this is as nefarious as it sounds.

Or, maybe it is. Who knows? It's not new, though.
Yes, it has but the 9 27 2024 update is the issue. Check this out:

The U.S. Department of Defense issued a federal directive on September 27 that allows U.S. military troops to be used to “assist” state and local law enforcement upon request, with actions up to and including “lethal force.” This is Directive 5240.01. Read it for yourself. The timing of the directive is interesting, one month before an election that is widely expected to generate chaos and civil unrest.

The Directive states on page 13:

Pentagon Issues Federal Directive Allowing Military to use ‘Lethal Force’ Against Americans as Video Resurfaces Showing Kamala Fantasizing About Weaponizing DOJ Against U.S. Citizens

“Defense Intelligence Components may provide personnel to assist a Federal department or agency, including a Federal law enforcement agency, or a State or local law enforcement agency when lives are in danger, in response to a request for such assistance, in accordance with the following approval authorities.”

Page 13 goes on to discuss various activities, including the use of lethal force. Section C under “Secretary of Defense Approval,” states:

So many scared men in this country. Raise a militia, get state backing, pool together all of the infantry and SOF veterans, then everyone else. But nobody will actually do that in preparation for war against the USA because of the fear of failure and loss of everything comfortable.

Precisely! It was pure apathy that got us into this situation.
