I don't think they're overrated. It's a generally accepted fact that they suck.

Agreed, the worst "Seattle grunge scene" band in my book, but the most popular.

The rest you listed are not overrated. They suck, but LOTS of people hate them. An overrated band must be a crappy band that is put on a pedestal by the majority. Nirvana counts, because they get Beatle-like worship.

OMG you hit the nail on the head with this one. My wife loves them I turn the station every chance I get. Fortunately he killed himself , so we only have to listen to what is already recorded. Except for the foo fighter BS.

Kiss isnt over rated they are pioneers. The make up and costumes paved the way for a lot of other bands. Their music was alright , but , he make up and costumes scared the hell out of the religious right when they came out. Have to disagree with over rated

Absolutely agree with this too. I've been trying to figure out why he's so popular but haven't found the reason yet.
