If Progressive pays for the damages, they will pay you, not the medical service providers. If you have the means, pay them 1st and consider any settlement a reimbursement. If any nonpayment of this debt goes to collections or otherwise affects your credit, just understand that is not a fault of the liable party.
Just FYI.
I was told once after a wreck. If that door does not open wait for fire, emsa or whoever to get you out or help you out for this reason. You can argue this and that. But you do need to pay these as they will mess up your life for awhile if you don't. They don't care if your waiting on money or anything. I would also if asking for help on a public forum just say I need a lawyer who can you recommend one. Not tell the story as much as lawyers and all there people search thing they could always come across this and use it against you. Just my opinion though

Bottom line is keep your mouth shut, don't post on a public forum, and let the lawyer know the truth, and let them sort it out.
JB does not like the Duke boys, so I am guessing he will not like your parody of them.
If it was not for all that hard cash in the bottom of his bucket, that Salvation Army bell ringer would have not been robbed.
