Can anyone answer a question about a terminated employee who is owed commissions. If so please pm me for details. Have a prior employer jerking me around.

If you are owed commissions, is there a possibility that the employer will withhold said commissions for "X" amount of time to make sure the customer who used the services of your company actually pays their bills. Many companies, including my sales job, pays commissions to the reps up front meaning if I make the sale in June I am paid then. If said customer does not pay the invoice within 120 days they reverse the commission out of my paycheck after 120 days.

Are you sure your former employer is not waiting to see if your customers invoices get paid before they pay you your final commission check?
