I knew an old guy who retired and kept up his farming/ranching. He was 85, went to drive a tractor though a gate with a round bale on it. Somehow didn't get the tractor in park and while opening the gate, the tractor rolled over him. Hell of a way to go but he died doing what he loved
Oof ... That hurts. Though it sounds like it would be instantaneous, being crushed is not. I sure hope he didn't hurt too long. 😢

Depending on the age of the tractor, I can certainly remember tractors that didn't even have a Park position in the transmission.
