They've been so disappointing for so long you almost don't want to jinx it. One of my coworkers is a die hard Arizona fan and it's funny to watch the enthusiasm dwindle to "maybe next year" as the season progresses lol.
Meanwhile, Tom Brady put the Boston sports media into a frenzy by listing his home for sale. That combined with being eligible as a free agent next year got ALL the rumors flying. Brady is retiring! Brady is going to play his last few seasons with another team! etc...

I don’t think they were jumping on him. Just stating they don’t like watching the nfl. I concur. I love college football. To me it is so much funner to watch. I love the band and all that. But I know some love watching the pros. Nothing wrong with that. I used to love watching the NFL back in the late 80’s and 90’s. One of my favorite memories was from super bowl 27. Leon Lett running down the field after picking up a fumble. He started celebrating before he got in the end zone and was hanging his arm out with the ball and someone chased him down and knocked it out of his hand. Lol. Great memories.
