No Heat! HVAC parts on a Sunday in OKC?

Happy Sunday...furnace out! I think have it isolated to the control board.

Anyone know of an HVAC service part distributor in the OKC area that is open on Sunday?

Ehh... we had that problem a couple of years ago. I don't know if he works on Sunday but it seems to be I recall him coming here on a Saturday. He did a good job for us.

Most supply houses have someone on call to come in and open it up after hours but there is a call out fee normally 50-100 bucks depending on the supply house.

The fireplace will make the rest of your house colder. Get a few space heaters and you will be fine. We have only used our furnace twice this year. We started using space heaters a few years ago and our highest gas bill has been 85 dollars..

When faced with an entire house that's cold, having one room warm is acceptable for one night. Family camp out in the living room!

get a good wood stove ... heat for free ...
use the natural gas heater for supplement heat.

heating with wood is one of our few options to truly control utility bills

Unless you have a fan that directs the heat out into your house, it does. That has been common knowledge for years..

An open wood burning fireplace consumes a lot of excess air which is air that is in the house and has been heated to the present room temperature. This air must be replaced by cold, outside air. The net effect on the temperature of the house is that it gets colder by using an open wood-burning fireplace. You may be nice and warm next to the fire, but rooms away from the fireplace are getting colder as the outside air is drawn in to make-up for the excess combustion air that the open fireplace is using.

our furnace wouldnt start up this year. we resorted to space heaters. we spend most of the time in the computer room, so we have one in there. one in the bedroom, in the master bath, and one in the living room now, just to keep overall temp steady.
