I need to dig back thru, I think I still have some mounts I offered nobody wanted at the time.
What is the modified case used for? Looks like some I modified to accept a shotgun primer and shoot .22 pellets from the AR.I have a unopened Hornady Lock-N-Load 223 Rem. modified case. I fat-fingered my parts order several months ago and bought 2 of these modified cases rather than one. Free to a good home. Can ship as well if needed.

These are used for the Hornady O.A.L gauge (I hate that name because it isn't measuring OAL, but rather CBTO). The neck is sized out to that of a fired case, that allows a projectile to slide in easily. The threaded base of the case connects to the Hornady OAL gauge. You seat the bullet very deep into the case, put it in the chamber, and use a rod on the back end of the gauge to push the bullet out until it hits the lands. You then set the ram in that position and pull the assembly back out. You can set the bullet back in the modified case until it contacts the ram. That seating depth is CBTO max before jamming into the lands. It's really only needed one time per rifle, unless you want to measure throat erosion. I just use these on my rifles to figure out max seating depth for load development, then use that as the base CBTO measurement before seating for bullet jump. What is the modified case used for? If the knife is still available, I am interested. Would be a great gift for my Dad’s 85th birthday. If it is spoken for, please let me know where you got it as I would like to order one for him if still available.Ah just some good luck. If you want the knife, it's yours, and you and MrChris can work out whatever. Shoot me a PM and we can work out meeting up.
Thank youIt is spoken for. I will send you a PM reference knife.
