A friend of mine just replaced some on his 07' Cummins. They were quite expensive, but he ended up finding a deal on some new ones on eBay...

He and I talked about the rebuilding process on them, and I think we came up with that you needed some very precise very expensive tools to do it...

Is it a LB7? You'll be needing that warranty.

You realize it was a class action lawsuit, because their injectors are such junk, that caused them to extend the warranty, right?

Yes it's a lb7 had one injector go bad. They changed all of them for free. No problems since. And it will run over top of any ford diesel.

My good friend who rebuilds and replace very large marine diesels has an '05 or so duramax Amd iirc he said he spends approx $550 per rebuilt injector. He does all the install work himself so he is saving labor on them too. He has had quite a few issues with his injector in that motor.
