Y’all just haven’t had the right special interest group pay of the ODWC enough like they did the Texas Parks and Wildlife.
In Texas, there’s a Managed Land Deer permit (MLD) that allows the hunters on the properties in the program to legally gun hunt starting on what’s supposed to be the first day of archery season and have a more liberal bag limit too. It’s usually big leases that do it, but I heard there’s no minimum acreage. If any of my places were beside a MLD property, I’d be pissed.
