More tax payer money up in smoke
Not sure. Most cities that have had Olympic games or satellite games build facilities that remain tourist attractions.
Not sure what year the winter Olympics were held in Vancouver British Columbia, but the epicenter of that facility is still there and attracts millions of people annually.
It could be a good thing for OKC.
I'm surprised the rowing competitions won't be held there.

They will have to either build a new softball stadium or spend millions on renovations all tax payer funded. Just watch

I row for our corporate team and spoke with the Riversport coordinator about the Olympics. They would need to redo the bridges over the river to have open water for the whole race.

Any topic...Have to have all the negative comments. We sound like the snowflakes we used to hate.....
You know it's a discussion board, right?

You define a snowflake as someone who posts something not supportive of your belief?

It seems to me the snowflake is the person who is troubled by someone's comment that doesn't properly support their narrative.
