I won't eat fries anymore b/c they also suck. Wife loved McD's fries, now she won't touch them.

Yup. I make a cornbread called "Duke's Cornbread" which is two boxes of Jiffy (prepared normally) along with a 14.5oz can of cream style corn, one cup of sour cream, one small or half of a large Vidalia onion, one cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, two cloves of minced fresh garlic and two teaspoons of diced jalapenos. Awesome!

I want that recipe! I'm cookin beans right now!

This is a little out of the way but Hemingway's in the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield has the best I've ever had. Huge Vidalia rings in the flakiest batter fried to perfection that you've ever seen. Trust me. If you're ever there, go upstairs and order some. You won't be disappointed.

I remember Shorty Smalls had that awesome Onion Loaf. They were at Reno and Meridian. Too bad they went out of business.
