You can also go to the House web site, watch live video and you can sign-up an account with LENS that will email you all kinds of stuff for selected bills.

Must be on Windows or Mac to watch the video. It requires Silverlight.

Anyone want to file a Section 508 complaint? There's other accessibility issues beyond the choice of technology used, but better cross-platform technology costs less and has better 508-geared solutions. Just sayin'.

HB1796 was just mentioned indirectly in questions of Tibb's HB1799. It calls for spending 100 million on upgrading prisons. Reynolds asked her why have an unconstitutional law passed putting the state in debt without a vote of the people like is called for "in your gun bill."

He's just noting the ballot provision.

Sullivan represents tusla doesn't he? Tulsans need to remember this next primary.

If I was so inclined, I would be finding my post from over a year ago when Sullivan was pulling all that shady county law enforcement crap without really telling everyone what it was about (i.e. doing an end-around city government), where I pointed out that a guy who will do shady stuff to pass issues that you support (as many here did) will also pull shady stuff on issues that you disagree with.

I don't think HB1796 will get considered due to lack of a Senate author. In theory, Tibbs could get one to sign on and then move to suspend the rules in order to have it brought up for consideration, but this close to closing time (they want to get out by 6PM) I'm 99.9% certain that there will be no Senate author.

That means we need to push our representatives HARD for SB129. We also need to push our Senators to amend HB1647, either removing all of the so-called open carry language or amending the bill to contain some real open carry language.

Well THANK GOD they managed to get the bill about electronically monitoring inmates and the "no texting while driving" bill. Those were sooo very important!

HA! And they didn't even manage to pass the texting one! What a circus this is.
