With the plans for a camping vacation with the wife's middle sister and her youngest son, the wife, the middle sister, and I took a drive over towards Silverton, CO to check out the Molas Lake Campground. On our way, we came across this view with a cascade waterfall along Highway 550, otherwise referred to as "The Million Dollar Highway." (Those numbers date back quite a few years.)

Craters of the Moon is a national monument located in Idaho. Our first visit there was in 2002 on a trip to Yellowstone National Park and Idaho to visit family. Subsequent visits there were in 2015 and 2019. Lots of the area is just a lava field, but there are some lava caves, one of which we kind of explored in 2002.
