I ordered several times from Botach and PSA with no problems. PSA IS backed up and has been since Thanksgiving.
PSA was excellent prior to the craze. They had A+ customer service and great price. When the craze hit, they could not deal with the demand. They were still putting up daily deals on the website even when they were 30 days behind on deliveries and customer service was falling apart. This led to an even bigger problem and their A+ rating went down the toilet. I think there was one point where Botach Tactical was more reliable and had better customer service, lol.
They're going through growing pains right now trying to correct those problems of growing too fast and trying to capitolize on all the demand without the proper support infrastructure in place. They're better now than a month ago.

Palmetto and Botach have both been good to me, just don't expect fast shipping these days for sure. One thing about Botach is they don't charge your card till the item has shipped and they give you the choice to cancel if it's backordered.
I've always had good experiences with PSA. They're good about keeping things online up to date and I've always recieved what I ordered. The one time I had an issue was when I ordered an upper that was supposed to come with a MBUS. Got the upper, no MBUS. E-mailed them pretty late in the day, got a response the next morning and got the MBUS a few days later. I recommend them to anyone looking for lower build kits or quality uppers.
I've placed over 20 orders with them over the past year. They have left items out on 6 orders. each time I have messaged them on their ar15.com forum and they have fixed their mistake within a couple weeks. I'll still order from them, but only because of the low prices, although they have increased them quiet a bit lately
I'd venture to say that anyone in the same line of business as PSA is completely buried right now.
NO... It isn't. I had an upper ordered for more than a month when they started thier AR15 days of Christmas. They said the "special" uppers would ship in three days. I called them asked why I had not gotten mine IF that were the case. They changed the advert to read temporarily outta stock. BAD FORM PSA!!!!
John Brownell was on Gun Talk today and said the Mag manufactors are telling him look for a 12 month backlog on mags before they can catch up , I figue the other manufacters are in the same boat.
