Why would you book a room for this? It's one day.
Also, I'm having issue coming up with a way to wear the rifle on a sling without hand support and wear a backpack at the same time.

Its two days for me, ROs will be setting up and running the course on friday.

I'm using my 3-Gun AR. I think a part of the problem was the sling point I was using, at the bottom of a Magpul MOE fixed stock. I ordered hardware to attach it higher up on the buttstock. It was kind of flipping out away from me.
ha ha ha, dont thank me yet, I havent had the chance to screw up anything!
I see what your talking about on the fixed moe stock, glad you got it sorted.
Who all on OSA has signed up for this? And if you havent, why not? I totally get the "work related" schedule conflicts and to some extent the SHOT show.

Well, my training for this has pretty much fallen apart. I was looking ok through mid-November; I had worked my way up to some pretty solid 5-mile runs (hadn't done that in years!).
Now instead of running I'm trying to rehab illiotibial band syndrome and plantar fasciitis concurrently. Probably gonna take a while to cover 6.5 miles. Oh well... I'll bring a bottle of Aleve and have a fun day anyway! How's everyone else's training going?

Hell, I've just been shooting from 200-500 yards mainly. I will probably walk most of this.
