Made a purchase the other day and decided to use pay pal since it's so secure right.Went by the bank deposited the funds for the purchase and proceeded to transfer it to my pay pal account.Shows up in my balance so I make the payment.Went by the bank today and I am 500.00 overdrawn.Pay pal pulled the same amount out twice. Now I get to be overdrawn until I get credited for the screw up from pay pal.Of course they are soooooo sorry but can't do anything right now, just be patient until your credit comes through. As Tango and Cash would say F.U.B.A.R.

I think it's great and the only problem I ever had was resolved pretty quick. I have a debit card on my PayPal account and use it for mad money. I sell a few things once in a while on eBay or over the net to supply the mad money fund and use the debit card like a credit card. Works out great, the money never gets into the household pool where it can easily disappear.

+1.
I use a debit card for all of my online purchases, online bill pay, etc. I dont use it unless I go load it with whatever I am needing to spend on it at a time. Not a bank debit card from our bank, but a Greendot debit card I got at a WalGrens years ago that I load up at WalMart. Have had it several years and done many many EBay/PayPal transactions- 2 last week- and not one problem. I have it just in case of situations like yours. Not saying you did it,but,it is easy to mess up and pay something twice. Ive done it.

This is why you never hit refresh (or click send again if it doesn't look like its doing anything) when submitting financial stuff in online systems.

Not saying that's what you did man but it can sure get you.
