i'll begin collecting signatures in a day or two, and some voter registration forms, if anybody in or around mcalester is interested in signing.

we're hoping for 160,000 or so, to account for ineligible signatures. must be registered voters, and sign the name on your registration card. if the paper is the wrong size, or not printed in the correct font and size, if it isn't notarized, it will not be counted. if too many unrigestered sigs are on a sheet, they may trow out the entire page, so a few well intentioned people could cause fifteen or so valid signatures to not be counted.

The guy at the smoke shop said the exact same. I thought it was just a plain sign thing, they had it sitting on the counter when we were picking up some shisha, so I just picked up the pen and signed and they freaked a little. He explained the process and why it was so important to follow the process to the letter, so I felt a little dumb, but we got it straightened out.
