SQ768 is the Oklahomans for health one.
SQ773 is the full legalization one sponsored by Connie Johnson, which was expected to be out for signatures a few days ago, on the 7th I think, but isn't yet for some reason unbeknownst to me.
Signed the 1st, waiting to sign the 2nd. I figure, like many other people I'm sure, that if I sign both hopefully a least one will actually make it to the ballot.

That one needs to go away. Dont think it even got approved by the AG?

That one's been approved for a long time.

Approval was just released Monday. They should be updating their site soon (if it isn't yet) with a properly formatted signature page.

SQ768 is the one you want if you think there should be more government involvement in your healthcare and if government should limit who can go into the business as a grower, distributor, or retailer.

SQ773 is the one you want if you think government has no right to restrict access to part of God's creation.

So in CO its legal to buy up to an ounces of weed. Anyone know the price structure there? I think there is a 15% tax on it so what does an ounce cost? Curious how the prices are there and if it will be competitive in OK once passed.

15% excise +13% sales + 3.5% city of Denver tax

When it started a rec oz was around $400 out the door. It's dropped to around $250 + tax so around $300 out the door. Of course this is average, some are higher and some are lower. I would say it will drop a bit more than that over the next year. If it does, it'll put a huge dent in the street dealer's sales. I'm talking Joe PotSlinger who buys a pound and sells it off by the 1/4 or 1/2. It'll eventually get to the point you can buy it at the store for them same exact price Joe PotSlinger would have to sell it to make any money to by himself that sweet new piece of glass he has his eye on.

If the whole U.S. went that way, it would all but put an end to street-level dealers. Sure, a few people smuggle moonshine nowadays, but it ain't like prohibition. It would also put a complete end to cartels shipping up brickweed (that's already taken a huge hit).

Medical is always about half that price. ~$150 for an oz of med.

An unlikely cannabis entrepreneur, Mr Leeds spent most of his career working in a bank as a loans adviser and had never seen a cannabis plant until 18 months ago.
He now develops strains with names like Sleestack, Beaver Dawg, Spacebomb and Dutch Hawaiian, at a former call centre he and his partners bought for $2 million and turned into a cannabis factory.
He doesn't smoke the drug himself but has discovered that a cannabis-infused tincture helps with the arthritis in his shoulders.
"I never thought I'd have 5,000 marijuana plants, but I came out of retirement for this and it's fun," he said.

Thanks ridge. 1/4 oz on the street used to go for $25-$30 in our neck of the woods. That was 15 years ago though. And it was skunk weed. So $250-$300/oz for a nice strain isnt bad really. Heck an oz would last me a cool year.
