All I know is that the man who is responsible for the last 4 years is running again and I have the option to vote for him next Tuesday. I will not give him the opportunity to make it worse... he's proven himself for me. If somehow Bush were running, I'd say the same thing about him.

Fair enough man. Since I don't live in a swing-state, I'm honestly thinking of not voting for president this year (hell, if Obama wins a single district in OK, he deserves to be president). I keep asking myself if I could honestly vote for Romney if I lived in a state where my vote could possibly tip the election. I seriously don't have that answer.

At the end of the day, I'd probably puss out and vote republican like I did for McCain (felt like a whore doing the walk of shame), but if voter turn-out doesn't go down, these idiots will keep supplying us with body-snatching clones of each other every election. To hear people singing either candidate's praises just makes me sick though. Sometimes it's ok to admit that it's late and the bar is getting ready to close so you just down those 3 extra shots and take the fugly chic home. But don't try and sell her as a super-model to your friends.

If anyone is to blame for the past 15 odd years of economic implosion it's the FED and their refusal to raise interest rates. The rates are kept artificially low to encourage spending over savings. This unnaturally imbalanced the trade deficit, the savings rate, the buying power of retirees and the coffers of more risky investment schemes. It allowed people to qualify for loans they'd have otherwise never sought, much less been approved for. Ultimately the more stable markets failed to draw any takers and the riskier markets crashed, leaving the taxpayer holding the bag when the FED devalued the currency by giving out free money for those who were "too big to fail".

Until this country learns how to encourage saving and discourage needless spending, it will never change. We'll be Greece in a few years. :(

Keep lapping up the Kool aid and distinguish yourselves from the "working man.". Ha ha aside from their ability to manipulate your vote and get you to consume their products, do you really think the Romneys of the world see you any different than you see the guy going through the dumpster looking for his dinner?

Name the two presidential candidates that support the Fed ridiculously more more than any others in history. Almost equally so (near-exact statements made by both about the Fed's outstanding performance and value).
