I've had some success this winter in Oklahoma.

Hunted in Colorado last month but struck out. Same with Texas so far. I doubt I'll be back to Colorado but I'm going to give Kansas and New Mexico a try later this month.

#1 Early morning coyote in Oklahoma panhandle by some Wind turbines. Took 19 minutes to get him killed. Male, solo. 150 yards.

#2 Early morning coyote in Oklahoma panhandle around some cattle. 3 minutes, small male, solo. 47 yards.

#3 Late morning coyote, same day as #2. In CRP. Called in six on this stand. Missed one and two came back, got this big male. About 20 minutes on stand. 35 yards.

#4 Late morning in central Oklahoma while deer hunting. Meandered by, blew a mouth call to stop him. 183 yards. Female, solo.

#5 Late morning coyote in Oklahoma panhandle while deer hunting. Spotted and mouth called to 150 yards. Big male, solo.

#6 Evening coyote, same day and location as #5. Spotted as we were glassing for deer. 115 yards, didn't call. Medium male, solo. Picked up after the hunt, under the full moon.

Nice job! You can hunt several different states in close proximity now. I'd hate to see your out of state license bill.

Yeah it ain't cheap. Most states are reasonable except Kansas. Used to be about $75, now it's $95. I screwed up and didn't get my lifetime there when I was living there briefly. I have my Oklahoma lifetime and will be getting my Texas lifetime with my Christmas money.

I did a search and didnt find a thread about predators so I thought I would start one. If there is already one will a mod just delete this thread and send me a link to the one thats already out there. This is one I shot on my ranch awhile back it went through the chest and came out the stomach. I have shot 7 since I bought the place 4 years ago. My rifle is a 243.

SilencerCo harvester 30cal can. Works great, only complaint would be length.
