Now the guys who had a few thousand rounds of .223 from last year that they bought cheap are whoring it here for $.75 per round.
Jesus cripes....sickening.

OTOH what about guys with massive ammo bunkers who aren't selling a single round? Their ammo isn't for sale at any price, which makes the $.75/round guys look cheap in comparison.

Being a ardent capitalist, I believe in the free market as the efficient distributor of goods. The price we are willing to spend on items is a sign of how much we value it. If you aren't willing to pay $0.75/rd, but I am, what gives you the right to demand that ammo at a lower price? If the ammo hoarder refuses your offer of $0.40 a round, why should we be able to force him to sell for what we think is a reasonable price?

Gouging is the flip side of Hoarding, remember that when somebody comes to take away everything you have because you refused to "share" it at what they thought was a reasonable price.

Selling ammo you've had horded away is one thing, but the Walmart campers are annoying me to death.

On the flip side, I had several thousand rounds of 7.62x39 I had intended to sell for a couple of years that I've been trading off 300-500 rounds at a time for people's family heirloom guns on facebook. I guess they've got some of those new $1000 SKS's to feed or something.
