Propane or dual fuel?

For all the camp cooks out there, what do you prefer?
Propane stove or dual fuel? (white gas)?

Of those 2 I prefer duel fuel. I ultimately prefer my alcohol stove, since I can make the fuel for it.

Propane is the way to go. If you want to cook, burn lanterns, etc. get a bulk tank and a distribution T and it will last a long time.

At the lease, we use white fuel in for all the lighting at camp and propane for all the cooking and heating of wash water. We do have several propane lanterns for lighting in the sleeping quarters though.

True, just gives me an excuse to carry more liquor while hiking.

Propane for our group cook shack for cooking and light but I still use an old coleman white gas lantern for my pee break night light.
