I gotta kill more with my compound before I go to something even MORE challenging!
How’s killing them with a rifle working out for you?!?I gotta kill more with my compound before I go to something even MORE challenging!
Doe and a 8 pt in the freezer. Guess not too bad. Don't assume just because not posted to your forum. How’s killing them with a rifle working out for you?!?
I've been on the disabled hunt 4 times. Ruptured bicep tendon that had to be re-attached. Limited ability to pull a bow so got the disability permit required back in the day.Don’t they allow “disabled” hunters to use recurve crossbows there? I’m not calling you disabled, but removing and poorly reattaching a bicep might qualify you in this instance. Fairly sure you get primo spots with a disability too. “Disabled” draw odds go up as well, or at least used to when my dad was putting in for them.
Everything hunting related is an expensive rabbit hole- even when it’s cheap. I’ve got a full size 28lb trainer you’re welcome to try out and train on if you like. I think it’s 62” long. It might need a new string, might not too.
I’m starting to think you’re getting soft.I've been on the disabled hunt 4 times. Ruptured bicep tendon that had to be re-attached. Limited ability to pull a bow so got the disability permit required back in the day.
Any cross bow is allowed, not just recurve.
Not many hunters get the nod for that hunt. It's hot as hell with humidity in the 80-90% range every day. Not much success is the result.
I hated the draconian rules, but acknowledge they are required to keep order.
Quit putting in for those early hunts. The rut is when one wants to be on that property.
