Maybe he thinks yer from Louisiana, and just don't want to call ya Louise...Tex......?
I'm having some issues with my bolt sticking. Not every round but when it sticks I have to jam the heel of my palm to get it to release and a rubber mallet to get the bolt to release and eject. This happens with the same frequency with my reloads or new ammo.
Yeah. I'm sure of that. But using 140 gr. black box hornady and it does it........well. I'll be sending it backSticky bolt is often the sign of excess pressure. You said you were well under max? I haven't looked at manuals to confirm your loads. If it also does it with factory ammo, and Ruger wants to see the rifle, my inclination would be to send it to them. Lots of variables, but if you have to use a rubber mallet, that is a serious sign!

Thanks Dennis. If it's sticking with factory ammo, definitely send it back. If it's reloads, screw your sizing die down an additional 1/8 turn.
Some factory ammo is stupid hot.
But being under book max and sticking I feel like the rest of the guys you have an issue.
It may not be too long of a turn around. At least it's not a month before deer season.
