I’d still send the GPS coordinates to the OCC and OERB.
One thing - assuming it was driven in - it either went in easy or there was something screwed on the threads because they don't really look flattened out very bad.
I’d have the OCC come look at it just in case, they can search their records. However, I had a pry bar that we’ve used since my great grandparents day that I’ve been told was made from a model T axle, and one end looks pretty close to that, except where the threads are has been ground to a dull point.

If I were a betting man- I would say that is the ground for a lighting rod- may have been a barn of even a shed there at some time.
