Yep, Romney can't win without the freeloader states. It makes you wonder why he has so little respect for them.

Those freeloader states don't know they're freeloaders. Romney wasn't talking to them. Romney needs the votes of freeloaders who are sick of freeloaders. They call this the Clayton Bigsby paradigm.

I heard on the news this morning that mitt wants the full recording of that meeting played, not just the edited pick and choose snippets that we were told about.
Perhaps there's more to the story?

Haven't read this entire thread, so maybe somebody else has responded. They did release the whole thing, and there's really nothing more to the story. Romney has now basically said something like "I could have said it better, but I still mean it."

I don't think he meant this straight talk for the masses. He's trying to get elected isn't he?

maybe im not yelling loud enough, Romney really wants to lose. He knows he's in over his head, he's been looking for a way out since he lost to McCain. Look at the GOP debates, he didnt win a single one. Paul, Newt, Cain and the other guy so outclassed him. He still doesnt have a plan for anything and he's been running for 8 years.

I really think he is a Democrat that is taking one for his real team.

Maybe he's summoning up the courage to tell the truth as his running mate stated....I'm not sure he'll keep running with it...but at least he's not backing down with a weak knee apology and appeasement.

Meanwhile, Obama will go on his late night election campaign show, a.k.a. the Letterman show, and have some fun with it...and the circus will continue.

So he summoned it (courage) up in May, and waited for whoever taped it to publish it in September? Yeah. That's the ticket!
