I was at Wally World del city last night and there were about 70 boxes of 556 varmint. I was in there tonight and it was all sold and the clerk said one dude bought it all. He also said all the ar's sold out and were not pulled.

Big Boys Guns & Ammo still have some 556 and 223 ammo.

Ran up to Sooner State Pawn to pick up a lower that's been waiting on me to pick up for a couple of weeks, and while waiting on the transfer, watched a mass of traffic in and out. Everyone looking for ARs, ammo and mags. All they had left are ATI plastic lowers. Drove to Academy and they're overrun as well. They pretty much sold out their AR inventory, then got corporate instructions to pull anything left off the shelf. Out of .223/5.56 as well.

Glad I'm stocked up for a while, but this'll put a damper on high volume recreational shooting for a while.

Places that had some (SG ammo up in Stillwater, Widener's) yesterday, are out today.

They have (had) MOUNTAINS of ammo at Widener's.

On the bright side maybe all this consumer activity will pull the US out of recession..
