IMHO, Chuck-U likely believes the only responsible gun owner is one who has surrendered his/her guns. His idea of a bill protecting responsible gun owners would likely be one where gun-owners who turn in their weapons, after being registered, are then "protected" by him in that no further prosecution is done. Instead of being pushed in front, they wait in line just like everyone else for their turn to be sent to the collective labor camps.
