Good question.

How about this legal gymnastics conundrum...

Group of people is stranded in cave, on island, etc. Very little to no food. They all agree that one of them will have to die and be eaten by the others, for any of them to have a chance at survival. They all consent to this in writing, fully informed. They draw straws, then kill and eat the one with the short straw. Later, some of them are rescued. Are they guilty of murder? If yes, *should* they be? There are cases where this has actually happened.

The speluncean explorers case... (2) ;)
Lets puzzle this more!

There was some documentary on these girls who were conjoined twins.
A friend of mine at the time had a very weird obsession with them, was talking to them on MySpace, etc.

Ah... ok...

Well.. I think you'd have to keep in mind that unless the "innocent" twin was on the phone to 911 immediately, he would at least be an accessory after the fact.

In reality, he would almost certainly have to have been complicit in the crime in some way.

not necessarily, twin A commits a spur of the moment crime of passion then threatens twin B to keep silent.
