Saw this funny lookin deer the other day....

thanx I hope they are still around in October and November. I was surprised I knew there were good deer in the area but WOW!!! I have taken a nice eight point from this spot 2 years ago.

Small buck and his doe. They are on a couple of different cams along with some smaller bucks. They stick together pretty tight. Havent been able to catch any of the big boys on the cams yet. Me and the 16yr old will pass on this one. Might let the 8yr old take him as his first buck.

Just put the camera back out. This is one of the better ones for my hunting spot. Been seeing lots of wild hog signs to, but haven't reset the traps yet.

I know huh? haven't had a picture of him since. this is the first year i have put out mineral, and this picture was about 3 weeks after I first put it out. The deer don't seem to be hitting it like they were. Is it normal for them to stop hitting the spots later in the year?
