St. Augustine pier no longer reaches the water.

That was because of beach reclamation. The local residents aren’t happy their pier is no longer usable.
If the pier doesn't reach the sea perhaps, eventually, the sea will reach the pier.
I'm doing my best to warm up the climate. I eat chili-dogs regularly.

I know what happened. Global warming evaporated the water, you can see it above the peer... be afraid, be very afraid.

If a 'pier' does not reach out over the water, it is no longer a pier. It's a boardwalk. Or a bridge to nowhere.
