In the next year or so they'll tell us they need yet even more money so we'll go through this all over again.

I wonder what percentage the government thinks we can ultimately pay in taxes and still have money on which to live?

I sincerely hope those who voted for these terds are happy to be paying more than the did under that evil Bush guy. No doubt this will somehow be his fault.:mean::hithead:

You know WTJ, I used to think that oh, it's not so bad to pay more taxes. I also used to think that Obama inherited a big mess. I still think he did, and I think that maybe TARP wasn't so bad as long as the companies paid it back with interest, but these new hidden taxes and ObamaCare really are going to screw a lot of people. Bad enough to tax those of us making a lot who provide jobs for folks, but sticking it to everyone with these crazy hidden taxes is nuts. Also, I'm already planning to cut staff this year. I'd like to reduce by 30%

I still blame Bush for turning so many people against the Republican Party.

I wasn't a huge fan of either Bush. However, the GOP turned me away with the first one. The hard lesson? Voting your principles gets you a Clinton, and I just didn't like him regardless of politics. You will probably just become a pissed-off Libertarian. It happens....

Hate to hear about the staff reductions. Been there on both sides and it's not pleasant.

If you put a note in there with the check explaining it, you might get 1-2 less calls.

I would start the note out with ---

As you should have been intensely watching on the news, most of the politicians you and your co-workers elected in Washington apparently have raised your taxes so you can help out with paying your fair share. We are sure you are OK with this as you keep re-electing those same politicians. Your current check take home pay reflects the results of your decisions. As you are aware, our company expenses are going up also because of your decisions of these leaders. We will be evaluating our costs of doing business for future decisions. Management.

And how do you think most of them would ever know? I have little doubt most of them that voted for that terrorist fall into 1 of 2 categories. 1. Suckling off the .gov teats 2. Brainless. (disclaimer) If you are offended by 1 I hope your teeth rot out. 2. Tough
