Not all but a lot of the people that voted for the POS will never see their taxes go up. As for Social Security, I've been paying it since 1967 and finally start getting some of it back in March. Been a long haul.

I'll never get a cent of social security I am far too young for the cut off obviously.

But I'm sure I'll be paying it until I retire long after the intended recipients have passed away and all that's left are the moochers.


Not to say your the latter Viking. I'm glad someone who paid in is getting some back.

If you do the proper estate planning, it can be nearly all of it. Although I haven't read what happened with that part of the "fiscal cliff" shenanigans.

They raised the estate tax from 35% to 40% but left the exemption at $5,000,000. If you are married and pass away, you also get your spouses exemption as long as you don't remarry. So really a husband and wife have a $10,000,000 lifetime exemption combined. Estate tax is horrible.
