A little off subject, but I went last Saturday with my son and I noticed that there were a LOT of cops missing. I'm used to seeing them running in packs all over the fair. I saw a total of four Okc cops and six Deputies from the Sheriff's office.
The big issue is this. Regardless of all signs and such, it will not deter unlawful people carrying firearms. And since there are less cops, I see a recipie for disaster. Personally I won't put myself in that situation in the first place.

i lol'd. wife and kids are off to the fair today. i doubt i'll make it.
The operative word is fairGROUNDS. Buildings are not considered 'grounds', I guess.
