McQueen had a more WFO lifestyle, he burned alot of candles at both ends, kinda chasing his own ambulance and died way too early
Newman was more laid back, he did some daring stuff, but with a little perspective and in return lived alot longer
most of McQueen's characters were self centered loaners (war lover, hell is for heroes, bullitt, etc)
