Were I going to vote straight party, I would still vote for each individual's name rather than simply the straight party box. I don't trust that it would actually count my vote correctly.
I'll go a step further and say we need to abolish political parties all together. They serve no purpose other than to stifle those who oppose their power structure.
I go online to the county election board website and download the sample ballot for my district. Then I go and research each candidate and question. I fill out the sample ballot exactly how I will be voting and carry it with me. Then all I have to do is mark the real ballot just like the sample and I've voted in accordance with my own beliefs, rather than what someone or some party told me to do.
Informed voting is awesome and highly underrated!

I vote for each individual. It usually comes out straight party, but I like to check each person's name individually.
I don't normally straight party vote but it just happened that way this time. I was all over it like a spider monkey.
