Short drop and quick stop is a bit of an understatement. I say life without parole in general population, child rapist don't fair to well in prison. May seem harsh to some but it sure doesn't once you have a daughter of your own.
What I think needs to happen to some people (and the immense satisfaction I would experience if I were to be allowed to hand out said "things") would, I am afraid, have you guys thinking less of me -- and probably get me banned -- so I'll just keep it to myself. Let's just suffice it to say that the defendants in this case would live long, long, long, miserable lives. And they would spend every single minute of it begging to die ...

Thats for sure. Horrible what happened. Horrible that no one cared enough before to prevent things from getting to that point. Sick that there were so many who thought it was ok to be a part of. Sad that the criminals were the one supported by the town and the ostracized the victim.
It's sad to see that intense parental involvement happened here way too late. The girl's and the boys' parents could have prevented this with supervision and no one would have been hurt or would be going to jail.
Yes. Thrown away by every adult in her life starting with her "parents". How do these assaults happen at least four times over a period of months without anyone knowing? How do you let a little girl walk out the front door at all hours without stopping her?
If you're the woman who finds her one night talking on the phone to some guys that are giving her a ride to Houston, how do you not say something to somebody?
If you're an older boy or man that she's contacting On FaceBook, why don't you understand that the kid needs help.
At least she's in foster care now, but it's probably too late to give her a chance at a normal life.

This. I felt quite disturbed by it all day after reading it in the morning. Were it my daughter, it never would've gotten to that point. Had my it been my daughter being gang raped, there would've been some killing going on.
