Ooooooo do you feel oh so better now? Where is my class warfare rant?

And, "Mr. Been there done that and have the t-shirt to prove it" I've yet to see "tyranny" here in the US.

I agree with 71Buick. He might be referring to a different tyranny than I am, but if the leaders of the American Revolution saw American society today, they'd be rolling over in their graves. The government we live under is a far cry from the government they envisioned. We've just had the yoke of tyranny slowly slipped over our heads over the course of the past 236 years.

"You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright. But we'll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you finally wake up and find you already have communism." Nikita Kruschev to Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson

Neither of those sides won.

That wasn't what you said. To reiterate:

He didn't say that but if someone were stupid enough to believe a bunch of dumbasses with small arms could put up anything even resembling a resistance against a modern military, they must not have any grasp of reality.

They've both done an impressive job of putting up something resembling a resistance.

The other sides gave up.

Oh, OK. So the Allies didn't win WWII; Germany and Japan "gave up".
