They cant attack from the air without intel from the ground.

Actually, there is plenty of ability to find and attack targets from the air without any assistance of anything on the ground. How do you think the opening shots of Desert Storm, OIF, and OEF were executed?

Yall can call me a coward all you want, I aint scared, I know if I engage, I will die.

They come to take OUR guns, I will engage, and I will die.

They will have to shoot through an American Flag to penetrate my flesh.

Damn all of you who will give your guns up.

One word: Switzerland. There are MORE than enough vets out there with plenty of firepower to give any invader with half a brain pause.

You're wholeheartedly convinced that the veterans of a country of 8 million could give pause to a modern invasion by a country of 300 million?

I guess envisioning these types of scenarios in which one "rises up" and fights some malevolent Orwellian domestic government is some sort of comfort against the drudgery and mendacity of every day life.

I wish my life were that dull.

How many guns are there in the U.S. again?

U.S. citizens own 270 million of the world's 875 million known firearms, according to the Small Arms Survey 2007 by the Geneva-based Graduate Institute of International Studies.

There are about 1.5 mil active military and about 1.0 mil reserves. IDK, seems to me that the blade of grass analogy kinda fits, YMMV.
