If you need any help with that......

Sometimes I wish I could. I hunt on a neighbor that has the DMAP.
He brings in clients, kids, etc, and I have to make sure the check in book is full at the end of the season. Field dressing and dragging gets to be a chore sometimes. Each has to be weighed and a jaw pulled.
It develops into a situation at the end of the year when I have to hunt, not that I want to....

Nice doe dennis.... she looks tasty.... On the DMAP program do you get to keep the meat? (at least the straps and hams) or do you have to turn it in or destroy or what???

All of the meat is donated to a charity or given to friends, etc. I usually put three in my freezer.
These two does go to a friend of my sister that cannot eat beef, chicken or pork without getting sick.
She can eat venison, so I'm her source for red meat.
I, as well as the others have a list of some people known by the GW that could use some meat.
The others go to a local city that has a program where people that want some venison can put their name on a list.
The Processing plant in Tonkawa has a list of people that want venison as well, so getting the meat to somebody is not a problem.
Kinda makes one feel good when you know its going to a good cause.
