Prison is punishment too. Where they came up with it being to "rehabilitate" I'll never know.
Prison isn't punishment. Watched the supermax series. They have fitness areas better than any thing on the street.
Prison just moves a criminal into a nursing home where life is not likely more dangerous than the environment they suffered in.
They get three square meals a day, and a bunk. Utopia to most of them.

That's kind of what my hidden sarcasm was about. I hid it pretty good didn't I? They need get rid of the A/C, TVs, Cable, etc. and give them a football, basketball and soccer ball and that's it.

EDIT: If you go out to the courthouse in Dewey county where this ********* met his end you can see the old jail on the west lawn. Probably well over 100 years old. That's what prison should be, just a bigger scale.

Prisons do restrict what inmates can watch.
They filter the programs.

Turns out there was a guy here in the metro who was helping him all along.

An Oklahoma City man was arrested this weekend after telling investigators that he gave ammunition and traded guns with Michael Vance shortly after the Luther killings and the shootout with Wellston police officers.

Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel said Danny Roach made contact with Vance shortly after the killings of Ronald and Valerie Kay Wilkson, but he was unaware of the shootings with police officers. Roach also told investigators that Vance said that he killed a woman who lied to him, Whetsel said during a news conference Monday.

Roach, 34, said he provided medical aid for Vance and gave him two 30-round magazines for an AK-47, according to Whetsel. He also said he traded guns that would give Vance a "tactical advantage."

He also told investigators that he was on the lookout for police while Vance was at his home

Roach was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on Saturday and has been charged with two counts of accessory to a felony murder after the fact, two counts of possession of a firearm after a felony conviction and shooting with intent to kill.

OHP has released video of shootout, including dashcam of trooper firing through windshield during pursuit.

Trooper's ears are probably going to be ringing for days.

I watched that video. Sure didn't see any hearing protection.
Right at the end, one of the officers flipped the fun lever to full rock and roll!

It will be interesting to see the ME report on how many of those bullets actually hit Vance. The FLIR video shows he bled out real quick on the roadway. Vance was most certainly a scumbag murderer but he knew some good tactics with getting in front of his vehicle there at the end.

I heard he was hit multiple times. Must have been a truly motivated guy. Also heard he was successfully trapping animals to survive. Sounded like his bush-craft was up to par
