Given the stated rates of return previously speculated earlier in this thread, even a $10k/month electric bill doesn’t sound too bad. I’ve worked in the poultry industry for over 30 years, and a utility bill of that size is not uncommon to a chicken farmer that has exponentially smaller gross income. What most don’t realize is that probably 99% of all commercial poultry is grown indoors in a climatically controlled environment.
I know several chicken farmers who are waiting for pot to be legal, so they can tell the chicken company they contract with where to go and how to get there. It makes me wonder if any chicken growers in Oklahoma have converted their houses to pot?!?
